According to people familiar with the matter, The Walt Disney Company is close to appointing Thomas Mazloum as chairman of its parks, cruises and consumer goods division to replace Josh D'Amaro. People familiar with the matter said Mazloum's appointment announcement could be released as early as this week. Mazloum has managed the California Disneyland Resort since March of last year.
