Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand: Over the past 18 hours, during my time in India, I have exchanged views with G7 foreign ministers on the escalating Iran-related conflict in the Middle East. I also maintain communication with the foreign ministers of Israel, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, and will continue to talk in the future. Canada stands with the people of Iran. We strongly condemn the attacks carried out by the Iranian regime against our Middle Eastern partners. These attacks must stop. We will continue to provide every possible support to Canadians across the region and urge Canadians in Iran to seek refuge locally.
