US air taxi manufacturer Joby Aviation said it has acquired a 700,000 square foot manufacturing plant in Ohio to meet its production targets for electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. According to the company, the new site is its second production site in Ohio, which has more than doubled its production scale. The company reiterated plans announced last year to more than double production capacity to four aircraft per month by 2027.
