Bavarian Nordic Launches DKK150 Million Tranche of Share Buyback Program

02:36 AM EST, 01/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bavarian Nordic (BAVA.CO) launched the first tranche of 150 million Danish kroner of its share buyback program, according to a Wednesday release. The vaccine manufacturer is looking to repurchase its shares to adjust its capital structure, with shares acquired to be held as treasury stock. The first tranche will run until Feb. 13. The company earmarked 500 million kroner for its 2026 share buyback program, under which it will repurchase up to 1.5 million shares.
