The Zhitong Finance App learned that Guoxin Securities released a research report saying that the brain-computer interface has entered a key point of “technological breakthroughs to commercialization”, anchoring the triple main line of “policy+technology+scenario.” Currently, the industry is benefiting from policy dividends such as the key layout of the 15th Five-Year Plan, health insurance coding, and implementation of medical device standards. Combined with Neuralink mass production expectations and the catalyst for domestic clinical breakthroughs, the global market size is expected to usher in explosive growth.

According to the report, from the product side, invasive products are still undergoing clinical trials, and some non-invasive products have already been marketed, including medical brain-computer-connected exercise rehabilitation systems and consumer-side sleeping devices. With the development of technologies such as chips, electrodes, and algorithms, and the continuous improvement of regulations and standards, it is expected that brain-computer interface products will be intensively commercialized in the next few years.

The bank recommended focusing on the core links and technical routes of the industrial chain, and giving priority to targets with barriers. Upstream can focus on hardware suppliers such as EEG sensors and core chips, benefiting from the volume demand brought about by mass production of equipment; the midstream focuses on companies with core patents and clinical resources, especially leaders in the field of intrusive technology that have quickly implemented in international and non-intrusive scenarios; downstream can track segments such as rehabilitation medicine and industrial control to form closed-loop commercialization targets, while focusing on ecological collaboration opportunities for “AI+ brain-computer” and “robot+brain machine”.
