09:52 AM EST, 01/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Non-residents will be able to invest directly in shares listed in Saudi Arabia's main market beginning Feb. 1 as the country opens its capital market to all foreign investors under an amended regulatory framework. The Capital Market Authority said Tuesday it approved the removal of the Qualified Foreign Investor concept, allowing investors access to the main market without meeting qualification requirements. The framework governing swap agreements was also eliminated. The move is part of efforts to attract more investments into the country and diversify its investor base.
