Final PMI: French Private Sector Activity Stalls in December 2025

04:04 AM EST, 01/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- France's private sector economy stalled in December 2025, amid decelerating service sector momentum and stable output levels, final data from S&P Global and Hamburg Commercial Bank showed Tuesday. The HCOB France Composite PMI Output Index fell to 50 from 50.4 in November 2025, below the flash estimate of 50.1. Meanwhile, the services PMI came in at 50.1, compared with the previous 51.4 and the preliminary reading of 50.2.
