British Retailer Next Hikes Guidance for FY26 Profit, Sales

02:30 AM EST, 01/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Next (NXT.L) raised its guidance for after-tax EPS and total group sales for full fiscal 2026, according to a Tuesday trading update. For the 12 months ending Jan. 31, the British retailer now expects a 16.1% growth in EPS to 7.388 pounds sterling, compared with earlier guidance of a 14.6% improvement to 7.294 pounds. Total group sales for the fiscal year are expected to increase 10.3% to 6.97 billion pounds, compared with the previous forecast for an 8.7% growth to 6.87 billion pounds. Looking ahead to the 12 months ending Jan. 31, 2027, the group expects further growth of 4.3% in post-tax EPS to 7.704 pounds, with total group sales anticipated to rise 4.2% to 7.26 billion pounds.
