Alcon Recalls Certain Custom Pak Ophthalmic Procedure Packs

11:49 PM EST, 01/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Alcon (ALC.SW) ordered a recall of certain custom surgical packs, according to a Jan. 2 notice from the US Food and Drug Administration. The regulator said certain lots of the Swiss eye care company's Custom Paks included pouches with incomplete seals, which could have compromised the sterile barrier.
