Norway's Gjensidige Closes Sale of Baltic Operations

08:18 AM EST, 01/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Gjensidige Forsikring (GJF.OL) completed the sale of its Baltic business ADB Gjensidig to Ergo International, which manages Ergo Group's international business portfolio. The Norwegian general insurer said Friday it received 99 million euros in proceeds, based on ADB Gjensidige's estimated equity as of Dec. 31, 2025. The sale was announced in July 2024.
