This morning, the large C919 domestic aircraft, numbered B-658N, landed smoothly at Huanghua International Airport in Changsha and officially joined the Hunan branch of China Southern Airlines. Changsha, Hunan became the fourth city in the country to administer the C919 after Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. It marks the first time that the C919 has achieved dual base operation between Guangzhou and Changsha, and a new breakthrough has been achieved in large-scale operation of large domestic aircraft. The relevant person in charge of China Southern Airlines Hunan Branch explained that it is planned to introduce a second C919 aircraft before the 2026 Spring Festival travel season to steadily expand the scale of operation of large domestic aircraft in Xiang. During the Spring Festival travel season, the C919 will fly on 3 routes from Changsha to Guangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai. Among them, Changsha to Beijing will fly more than 3 flights a day, providing travelers with more choices of domestic models.
