On December 29, the world's largest monomer lithium iron phosphate base, the Yichang Bangpu Era 450,000 tons/year next-generation lithium iron phosphate project was officially put into operation. Brunp Era's 450,000 tons/year next-generation lithium iron phosphate project is a sub-project of the Ningde Era Bangpu full-chain integrated industrial park project. It is a strategic project of Brunp's “first fourth-generation lithium iron phosphate technology” strategic project, with a total investment of 5.6 billion yuan and an estimated annual output value of 14.5 billion yuan. The contract was signed in January 2025, construction began in February, and production was put into operation in December, setting a new record for industry construction. The project built 3 production workshops and 6 production lines, with a production capacity of 450,000 tons/year, making it a high-end lithium iron phosphate manufacturing base with the largest single production capacity in the world. The area of one workshop is more than 40,000 square meters, which is equivalent to the size of 6 standard soccer fields. The new generation of lithium iron phosphate produced has a higher compaction density. The new energy power batteries used as cathode materials have faster charging speed, longer battery life, and better low temperature performance.
