John Wood Group Wraps Up Sale of UK Transmission, Distribution Engineering Business

10:42 AM EST, 12/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- John Wood Group (WG.L) completed the sale of its UK transmission and distribution engineering business to UI Telecoms & Power Holdco, according to a Tuesday release. The deal has a cash consideration of 57.5 million pounds sterling, with the British engineering and consulting company receiving 55.1 million pounds in cash proceeds net of transaction costs. The agreement was announced on Dec. 10.
