Vestas Bags 102-MW Wind Turbine Order in Italy

06:35 AM EST, 12/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Vestas Wind Systems (VWS.CO) said Tuesday it secured a 102-megawatt wind turbine order from Italian utility Edison (EDNR.MI). The order comprises five V150-5.6-MW and 12 V150-4.5-MW turbines for the Andretta-Bisaccia project, while four V136-4.5-MW turbines will be for the Rocchetta wind farm in Italy. The contract includes 10-year operation and maintenance service agreements. The Danish wind turbine manufacturer expects to deliver and commission the turbines in the fourth quarter of 2026.
