Today, we learned from China Aviation Industry Group that China's self-developed “Xiangyun” AS700 manned airship has successfully obtained the country's first domestic manned airship production license issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, marking that China's first manned airship independently developed according to airworthiness standards has officially entered the mass production stage, laying a solid foundation for large-scale delivery and commercial operation of domestic manned airships. As the core link from development to industrialization, model certification and production license together form a complete closed loop supervision system from “design approval” to “production approval”. Previously, the AS700 manned airship successfully obtained a TC certificate in December 2023.
