SMIC (688981.SH): SMIC Southern's registered capital will increase to US$10.077.3 billion

Zhitong Finance App News, SMIC (688981.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary SMIC Holdings has entered into new joint ventures and additional capital expansion agreements with the National Integrated Circuit Fund and the National Integrated Circuit Fund Phase II to revise the previous joint venture contract. According to this, SMIC Southern's registered capital will increase from US$6.5 billion to US$10.077.3 billion. SMIC Holdings, the National Integrated Circuit Fund, the National Integrated Circuit Fund Phase II, the National Integrated Circuit Fund Phase III, the Shanghai Integrated Circuit Fund Phase II, Taixin Dingji, and the Pilot Integrated Circuit Fund will hold 41.561%, 9.392%, 14.885%, 8.361%, 7.939%, 11.253%, 5.545% and 1.063% of SMIC South's shares, respectively. The parties agreed that each capital increase will invest a total of 7.778 billion US dollars in SMIC Southern Cash for this capital increase, of which a total of 3,577.3 billion US dollars is included in SMIC Southern's registered capital, and a total of 4.200.7 billion US dollars is included in SMIC Southern's capital reserve.
