State Administration of Foreign Exchange: In November 2025, China's foreign exchange market traded a total of RMB 24.34 trillion

The Zhitong Finance App learned that statistics from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange show that in November 2025, the Chinese foreign exchange market (excluding foreign currency pairs, same below) traded a total of 24.34 trillion yuan (equivalent to 3.44 trillion US dollars). Among them, bank-to-customer market transactions amounted to 3.62 trillion yuan (equivalent to 0.51 trillion US dollars), interbank market transactions amounted to 20.72 trillion yuan (equivalent to 2.92 trillion US dollars); cumulative spot market transactions amounted to 8.82 trillion yuan (equivalent to 1.24 trillion US dollars), and derivatives market transactions totaled 15.52 trillion yuan (equivalent to 2.19 trillion US dollars).

From January to November 2025, China's foreign exchange market traded a total of 276.41 trillion yuan (equivalent to 38.65 trillion US dollars).
