Wang Haidong, director of the Population and Family Department of the National Health Commission, explained that the National Health Commission included “4.5 childcare places for infants and children under 3 years of age per 1,000 population, adding 660,000 new inclusive care places nationwide” in the 2025 National Health System Practical Project to serve the people, using people's livelihood facts as an opportunity to promote a steady increase in the supply of childcare services. This year, the number of childcare places for the country's 1,000 population reached 4.73, and 890,000 new inclusive infant and child care places were added, exceeding the practical tasks of inclusive childcare and people's livelihood ahead of schedule.
