Sadafco to Voluntarily Liquidate Three Units to Trim Costs, Boost Efficiency

(SASE:2270), d/b/a Sadafco, said Thursday its board decided to voluntarily liquidate three units to minimize operating costs and boost efficiency. The process involves the food manufacturer's wholly owned units, Sadafco Jordan Foodstuff Co and Sadafco Bahrain Co, as well as its 49%-owned Sadafco Kuwait Foodstuff Co. Sadafco added that the voluntary liquidation is part of its transition to a distributorship model from a self-operated model.
