The Ukrainian government stated through two resolutions published on its official website that it has extended the ban on imports of Russian goods by one year. The first resolution extended the ban on imports of some Russian goods until December 31, 2026, while the second resolution extended the period of imposition of tariffs on Russian products for the same period of time. Both resolutions were passed in 2015 and have been postponed several times since then. Prohibited products include meat, fish, coffee, tea, chocolate and other confectionery products, infant food, animal feed, alcohol, and cigarettes. The ban also applies to several types of industrial products, means of transportation, chemical fertilizers and agricultural products.
