The reporter learned from the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Transportation on December 25 that the investigation report on the Shaoxing “9/13” Rail Transit Line 2 train collision accident was officially released. At about 23:25 on September 13, 2025, an empty train on Shaoxing Rail Transit Line 2, which had been repaired, collided with 4 cleaning personnel in the outbound section from Tandu Station to Doujiang Station. The investigation determined that the major “9/13” rail transit accident in Shaoxing City was a production safety liability accident resulting in 3 deaths and 1 serious injury due to inadequate safety risk identification and control of the enterprises involved, and violation of safety operating procedures by workers.
