According to approval from the Guizhou Provincial People's Government, the Guiyang to Pingtang section of the G7522 Guiyang to Beihai Expressway of the national highway network was officially opened to traffic on December 26, and is open to public vehicles. This major high-speed artery with a total length of about 174 kilometers and a total investment of over 39.2 billion yuan not only shortened the driving distance from Pingtang to Guiyang from 2.5 hours to about 1 hour, but also marked the addition of a major sea access channel that runs through the north and south to the Beibu Gulf.
