UAE Central Bank Cancels Omda Exchange's License, Fines AED10 Million

07:22 AM EST, 12/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates revoked the business license and issued a 10 million-Emirati-dirham penalty against financial services company Omda Exchange. The regulator said Tuesday its actions were based on the results of its investigation, which found Omda's "failures and violations" of the Central Bank Law, as well as related Exchange House regulations.
