UK Competition Watchdog to Accept Proposed Remedies in Vandemoortele-Délifrance Deal

07:23 AM EST, 12/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The UK's Competition and Markets Authority said Monday it plans to accept the remedies in Vandemoortele's deal to buy Délifrance. The regulator's phase 1 investigation found that the transaction would result in a significant lessening of competition in the UK market for the supply of frozen pastry products to supermarket and foodservice customers. As a result, the companies offered to sell Délifrance's UK viennoiserie business and two production facilities in France.
