Lansdowne Oil & Gas Secures Funding for $100 Million Arbitration Claim Against Ireland

07:03 AM EST, 12/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Lansdowne Oil & Gas (LOGP.L) secured funding to pursue an arbitration claim against Ireland for the refusal to award a lease undertaking for the Barryroe oil and gas field. The oil and gas company said Monday it signed an engagement letter with US law firm Diamond McCarthy for the funding. The company expects to file a compensation claim of at least $100 million plus interest, with Lansdowne entitled to between 60% and 70% of the proceeds. The funds will cover legal fees and costs related to the claim.
