Rockhopper Exploration Reaches Financial Close on Sea Lion Project

05:23 AM EST, 12/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rockhopper Exploration (RKH.L) said Monday it reached a financial close on its Sea Lion project in the Falkland Islands after a recent final investment decision. The British oil and gas company will now close its placement of 201,102,976 new shares, raising $142 million in gross proceeds. For the shareholders who did not participate in the placement, Rockhopper is commencing an open offer for up to 13,188,036 shares to raise an additional 7 million pounds sterling. The record date for the shareholders eligible to participate in the offer is Dec. 19.
