On December 22, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission issued Notice No. 2025/128, stating that it has made a preliminary anti-dumping and countervailing ruling on freight railway wheels imported from China and decided to levy temporary anti-dumping duties in the form of security deposits on the Chinese products involved in the case from December 22, 2025. The tax rate for uncooperative manufacturers and all producers is 36.9%; since there is currently no sufficient evidence to support a positive preliminary anti-subsidy ruling on the products involved in the Chinese case, the Commission will continue the investigation. The Australian customs code for the products involved is 8607.19.00.20.
