Avio Secures EUR100 Million Vega C Satellite Launch Service Contracts

04:05 AM EST, 12/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Avio (AVIO.MI) secured two service agreements worth 100 million euros with an unnamed European and a non-European customer to launch multiple satellites with the Vega C launcher. The Italian space propulsion company said Friday that the satellites, weighing between 400 and 1,000 kilograms, will be deployed into a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit, supporting Earth observation. Satellite launches are scheduled between 2028 and 2031.
