Among them, the construction business signed a new contract amount of 3716.2 billion yuan, an increase of 1.9% over the previous year. The amount of new contracts signed for the housing construction business was 2462.2 billion yuan, an increase of 3.1% over the previous year; the amount of new contracts signed for the infrastructure business was 1242.9 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.1% over the previous year. The amount of new contracts signed domestically was 3530.3 billion yuan, an increase of 1.8% over the previous year; the amount of new contracts signed abroad was 185.8 billion yuan, an increase of 4.4% over the previous year. In terms of physical volume indicators, housing construction area was 1,614 million square meters, down 2.5% year on year; new housing construction area was 237 million square meters, down 12.7% year on year; and completed housing construction area was 183 million square meters, up 11.4% year on year. In the real estate business, contract sales were 324.6 billion yuan, down 9.9% year on year; contract sales area was 12.15 million square meters, down 4.1% year on year.
