AlphaValue/Baader Europe Adjusts Equinor Rating, Forecasts Amid Lower Commodity Price Expectations

03:03 AM EST, 12/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe revised Equinor's (EQNR.OL) rating to add from buy, with a price target of 263 Norwegian kroner, following revisions to the research firm's commodity price forecasts. "The weaker European gas price outlook more than offsets the modest uplift in near-term oil, resulting in lower upstream earnings and revised-down EPS over the forecast period," analysts wrote Thursday. As such, the full-year 2025 and 2026 EPS estimates for the oil company were reduced by 4.92% and 18.9%, respectively, to $2.60 and $2.58.
