The wholesale price index for “vegetable basket” products was 133.64, up 0.13 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 17.53 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday; beef 65.92 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday; lamb 62.38 yuan/kg, the same as yesterday; eggs 7.45 yuan/kg, up 0.5% from yesterday; and white striped chicken 17.84 yuan/kg, up 0.1% from yesterday. The average price of the 28 kinds of vegetables monitored was 5.87 yuan/kg, down 0.5% from yesterday; the average price of the 6 kinds of fruit monitored was 7.68 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday. Carp is 19.43 yuan/kg, the same as yesterday; carp is 13.88 yuan/kg, up 0.9% from yesterday; white mackerel is 10.52 yuan/kg, up 5.2% from yesterday; and large octopus is 39.97 yuan/kg, up 2.7% from yesterday. Today, out of the 46 varieties monitored by the domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale market, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were white mackerel, mackerel, octopus, pineapple and watermelon, with increases of 5.2 percent, 3.2 percent, 2.7%, 1.6%, and 1.6 percent, respectively; the top five price declines were shallots, oyster mushrooms, beans, cucumbers and rapeseed, with ranges of 3.7%, 2.6%, 2.5%, 2.0%, and 1.7%, respectively.
