Adnoc, Eni Secure $11 Billion Funding for Offshore Gas Project in Abu Dhabi

06:59 AM EST, 12/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Abu Dhabi National Oil, d/b/a Adnoc, Eni (ENI.MI), and PTT Exploration and Production Public Co. signed a structured financing agreement of up to $11 billion for the development of the Hail and Ghasha project offshore Abu Dhabi. The project is expected to produce 1.8 billion standard cubic feet of gas per day, and is projected to capture 1.5 million tonnes of carbon dioxide annually, the Abu Dhabi-based oil and gas company said in a Thursday release. Adnoc noted that over 20 international and regional financial institutions participated in the funding agreement.
