Outokumpu Plans Job Cuts in Finland, Sweden, Germany Under Restructuring Program

10:59 AM EST, 12/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Outokumpu (OUT1V.HE) plans to cut jobs across Finland, Sweden and Germany following the completion of personnel negotiations under its restructuring program that aims for 100 million euros in cost savings. The Finnish stainless steel producer will cut 139, 109 and 120 positions in Finland, Sweden and Germany, respectively, according to a Wednesday release. An additional 80 positions are expected to be cut in other countries, with the program set to affect a total of 650 full-time roles by the end of 2027. Aside from job cuts, the program also includes efficiency improvements across the business and streamlining of the production footprint.
