09:34 AM EST, 12/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Energy approved the plan of Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (SASE:1211), d/b/a Ma'aden, to allocate the feedstock required for the development of its fourth phosphate project. The mining company said Wednesday it will now start engineering studies for the project and pursue work toward securing the remaining regulatory approvals. The project is expected to increase Ma'aden's annual phosphate and specialty fertilizer output by 2.5 million tons, bringing its total fertilizer production capacity to 12 million tons per year.
