The Iraqi government issued a government communiqué on November 17, stating that Iraq has officially listed Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen as entity organizations “involved in terrorist acts.” On December 4, Iraqi Prime Minister Sudani ordered an immediate investigation to find out and investigate responsibility for errors in the contents of the government communiqué involving Hezbollah and the Houthis in Lebanon's resolutions. On December 9, the Iraqi government announced the removal of Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen from the list of entities “involved in terrorist acts.”
