Annual UK Producer Input Price Growth Picks Up in November; Output Inflation Eases

02:14 AM EST, 12/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Producer input prices in the UK climbed 1.1% year over year in November, following the revised 0.8% uptick in October, data from the Office for National Statistics showed Wednesday. Analysts expected a 0.4% growth for the month. Meanwhile, producer output or factory gate prices gained 3.4% annually, against the 3.6% increase earlier. On a monthly basis, producer input prices rose 0.3% in November, compared with the revised flat reading earlier and expectations of 0.2% gain. Monthly factory gate prices were 0.1% higher, consistent with the revised prior month figure and market expectations.
