According to reports, on December 16, OpenAI said that it has appointed former British Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne as general manager to be responsible for the “OpenAI for Countries” program. The relevant appointments will take effect in January next year. The project aims to promote cooperation between the company and various countries at the level of artificial intelligence infrastructure and applications, and is regarded as an overseas extension of OpenAI's “Stargate” data center program.
