The new US$1.00 billion Beta Technologies motor deal strengthens the story around execution by locking in a key propulsion supplier ahead of the first test flights targeted for late 2025 or early 2026, and it modestly improves line of sight on the near term catalyst of a successful prototype program. At the same time, it does not change the biggest tensions in the thesis: zero revenue today, rising quarterly losses, the need for significant funding and potential further dilution, and a long road until planned service entry from 2027 onward.
