Airbus Begins Delivery of Military Helicopter Unit to German Navy

09:48 AM EST, 12/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Airbus (AIR.PA) subsidiary Airbus Helicopters delivered the first NH90 Sea Tiger to the German Navy, marking the start of deliveries under a 31-unit order, according to a Tuesday release. The military helicopters will be fully delivered through NHIndustries, a joint venture of Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo SpA (LDO.MI) and GKN Fokker, by 2030. It will be used for anti-surface and anti-submarine warfare missions.
