UAE's Space42, PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia Partner to Expand 5G Direct-to-Device Services

07:52 AM EST, 12/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Space42 (ADX:SPACE42) partnered with Indonesian satellite operator PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia to expand 5G direct-to-device services, according to a Tuesday release. Under the deal, the partners will explore potential areas of collaboration in non-terrestrial network and direct-to-device connectivity, including technical integration, regulatory and security cooperation, research and development, and strategic initiatives. Equatys, the Emirati space technology company's direct-to-device venture with US-based satellite and secure communications company Viasat, will also assist the new partnership.
