Glencore Buys Quechua Copper Project in Peru

07:35 AM EST, 12/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Commodities giant Glencore's (GLEN.L, GLN.JO) unit Glencore Peru Holding acquired the Quechua copper project in Cusco, Peru, according to a Tuesday release. Glencore Peru purchased the entire share capital of Compañía Minera Quechua, including the full ownership of the project, which is adjacent to the company's Antapaccay copper mine.
