According to the Zhitong Finance App, Everbright Environment (00257.HK) announced that Everbright Environmental Protection China, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, completed the issuance of Everbright Environmental (China) Co., Ltd.'s first green targeted asset support notes (carbon neutral bonds) in 2025 on December 16, 2025. The total face value of asset-backed notes issued under the first issue of asset-backed notes in 2025 is RMB 787 million. Proceeds will be used to supplement its working capital, repay loans from financial institutions, and/or other purposes in accordance with relevant national industrial policies and applicable laws and regulations.
