Leonardo, KNDS Deutschland Partner to Jointly Develop Mobile Artillery System

05:45 AM EST, 12/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Leonardo SpA (LDO.MI) and defense manufacturer KNDS Deutschland signed a letter of intent to jointly develop a new mobile artillery system. The new system will combine KNDS' artillery gun module with the Italian defense technology company's protected wheeled vehicle platform, according to a Tuesday release. The new system will be offered during the upcoming procurement program of the Italian Army.
