The name of the invention is “a thermal management system for locomotive power batteries”. The patent number is ZL 20241.9821 million, and the authorization announcement date is December 16, 2025. The patent provides a top-mounted heat management system that can make full use of the space on the top of the locomotive to switch between three modes by integrating the coolant circuit, refrigerant circuit, air circuit and control system in the same box; using common components and piping to optimize the layout, and set up an expansion tank exhaust fluid refill structure and electric heater bypass design, which solves problems such as difficult coolant exhaust and precipitation resistance, and enables the power battery to work stably in an environment of -40℃ to +40℃, reducing energy consumption and improving overall thermal management efficiency and reliability.
