Chendian International announced that Baotou Tianchen Zhongbang Industrial Gas Co., Ltd., a second-tier holding subsidiary of the company, is involved in the lawsuit. As Baotou Jiyu Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. was in arrears with the gas supply payment, Baotou Tianchen filed an arbitration lawsuit with the Beijing Arbitration Commission to decide that Jiyu Steel should pay 1.20932 million yuan of gas supply payments and overdue interest. On July 11, 2024, the case was filed and accepted by the Beijing Arbitration Commission. In December 2024, Beijing No. 4 Intermediate People's Court issued a ruling, finding that the arbitration clause was legal and valid, and rejected Jiyu Steel's application claiming that the arbitration clause was invalid. On June 23, 2025, the Beijing Arbitration Commission issued an arbitration award, ruling that Jiyu Steel paid Baotou Tianchen the amount owed for gas supply, overdue interest, lawyers' fees and arbitration fees. Jiyu Steel disagreed and applied to Beijing No. 4 Intermediate People's Court to set aside the arbitration award. Recently, the Fourth Intermediate People's Court of Beijing ruled to dismiss Jiyu Steel's application. The results of this ruling will not have a negative impact on the company's current profit or future profit.
