On December 5, 2025, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services issued Notice No. 96 of 2025, extending the anti-dumping investigation against glass fiber originating in China and Egypt, and extending the completion period of this case to 18 months from the date the case was filed. On August 6, 2025, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services issued Notice No. 60 of 2025 to launch an anti-dumping investigation against glass fiber originating in China and Egypt in response to an application submitted by the Brazilian domestic company Owens Corning Fiberglas A.S. Ltda on October 31, 2024.
