The reporter learned from China Energy Construction that on December 16, the first phase of the “Green Hydrogen No. 1” Songyuan Project, the world's largest integrated green hydrogen-ammonia alcohol project, was officially put into operation in Songyuan, Jilin. Many of the project's technologies filled domestic gaps and provided technical support for the integrated development of large-scale hydrogen production and green hydroaminol in China. The Songyuan project began construction in September 2023. After the first phase of the project is put into operation, it can produce 45,000 tons of green hydrogen, 200,000 tons of green ammonia and green methanol every year, which is equivalent to saving about 600,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon by 1.4 million tons per year.
