According to statistics from Jiangxi, the value added of industries above the scale of the province increased 7.6% year-on-year from January to November. Looking at the three major categories, the value added of the mining industry decreased by 5.1% year on year, the manufacturing industry grew by 8.4%, and the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water increased by 2.7%. By type of economy, the value added of state-owned enterprises increased by 1.7%; joint-stock enterprises increased by 8.2%; foreign-invested, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwanese enterprises increased by 2.8%; and private enterprises increased by 7.4%. By industry, out of 38 major industries, 23 industries achieved growth in value added, with a growth rate of 60.5%. Among them, automobile manufacturing, computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing, and non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industries grew by 21.4%, 13.0%, and 12.5%, respectively.
