Ryanair CEO in Talks to Extend Contract, Expects Exit by 2035

08:44 AM EST, 12/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ryanair (RYA.IR) Chief Executive Officer Michael O'Leary expects to hand over the reins around 2035 as he flagged talks to extend his contract that ends in 2028, London's Financial Times reported Dec. 12. O'Leary told the publication his contract could be extended for "three to five years" and that he plans to stay for two years to train the next CEO of the airline. Ryanair did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
