Macau Monetary Authority: Preliminary statistics on total foreign exchange reserve assets at the end of November were MOP 24.8 billion, up 1.1% month-on-month

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on December 15, the Macau Monetary Authority announced that the total amount of foreign exchange reserve assets of the Macao Special Administrative Region at the end of November 2025 was preliminary statistics of MOP 240.8 billion (US$30.5 billion), up 1.1% from the revised total amount of MOP 238 billion (US$29.74 billion) in October 2025. The total amount of foreign exchange assets at the end of November 2025 was about 11 times the currency in circulation in Macau at the end of October 2025, or 89.6% of the Macau dollar portion of the broad money supply (M2).
